Attorney Jake Bruner Co-Presents “Turning Wealth Into Legacy: Advanced Charitable Giving Strategies” In Collaboration with Pinney Insurance
On May 7, 2026, Attorney Jake Bruner co-presented “Turning Wealth Into Legacy: Advanced Charitable Giving Strategies” via virtual webinar in collaboration with Pinney Insurance - a full service life insurance brokerage firm helping agents become 21st century producers. As part of this collaboration, Jake virtually addressed an audience of life insurance agents, financial professionals, and other members of the insurance industry from around the country.
In this presentation, Jake addressed best practices for structuring and implementing split-interest charitable trusts, including charitable remainder trusts (CRTs) and charitable lead trusts (CRTs), as well as their various subtypes (e.g., CRATs, CRUTs, NI-CRUTs, NIM-CRUTs, CLATs, CRUTs, etc.). In addition, Jake commented on the potential benefits of using charitable gift annuities (CGAs) and irrevocable life insurance trusts (ILITs) to create liquidity for charitably-inclined families, high net worth estates, pre-sale business owners, and other individuals with highly appreciated assets.
